Muskari Summer Camp: FCF's Music, Movement and Visual Arts Camp
Give your child the opportunity to experience the renowned Finnish educational system at our Muskari Summer Camp 2012!!!!
Finland Center Foundation is offering a Muskari Summer Camp program for children ages 3–6 from July to mid August. The program will be offered in six one-week sessions, and you can enroll your child in as many sessions as you like. The camp will have enriching music and visual art programs, both of which are included in the camp fee.
The children will be split into two age groups, 3-4 year-olds and 5-6 year-olds. Each group will have a program specifically designed to meet the children's needs.
The programs will broaden the students' understanding and appreciation of the arts through stimulating music and visual art classes. The visual art program will be hosted by assistant teachers from the legendary Salmagundi Center for American Art. The music program will be based on the Kodaly, Orff and Dalcroze methods and taught by professional Finnish music teachers in English.
